The negotiation process, characterised by transparency and collaboration, was primarily aimed at ensuring improved working conditions and recognising the value of employees. Among the main provisions agreed upon is a salary adjustment, reflecting recognition of the dedication and commitment of the workforce, as well as the provision of funeral assistance.

The agreement was signed on 10 September, during a ceremony at which the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Portos do Norte, S.A., Dr. Fernando Amado Leite Couto, stated that the agreement reflects the company's commitment to open dialogue and the pursuit of a balance between employees' interests and business sustainability.
